TECHNOLOGY IS NOT AT FAULT.

To the quoted statement above said by Amnesty International Secretary-General, Salil Shetty. I would say technology was never intended to bring harm and damage to lives and properties.
The purpose of technology is to eliminate stress, improve process and make all activities easier and faster.
Correct me if am wrong that before the advent of technology, evil has existed in the world. Even from the creation of the world, People have been killed, properties has been lost and destruction has occurred from the evil intentions that lies in the heart of man. At those times, technology wasn't the cause of these. We can't blame it on technology, the only thing technology has done was to make these processes easier and faster, which was the primary purpose of creating technology.
Agree with me on this, that technology on it own can't cause harm or damage to lives and properties, except when used by people with wrong intentions. And do not forget that when these evil are done, it is with this same technology we use in fighting back and restoring things.
